Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Project

SPDC’s Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) Project supports educators in building culturally responsive practices that honor the cultures, identities, and lived experiences of NHPI students. Through professional learning, curriculum development, and community-centered education, the project helps create school environments where students feel seen, valued, and supported. By strengthening educator understanding and classroom practices, the project aims to improve student engagement, strengthen cultural identity, and build more meaningful connections between schools, students, families, and community.
