Mentoring &Tutoring Program for Pacific Islander Students: Roosevelt High School

SPDC is in its third year hosting a pilot mentoring and tutoring program at Roosevelt High School. Each high school student is assigned to a college mentor/tutor who provides academic support. SPDC’s main focus is addressing low graduation and attendance by increasing parent and family engagement through culturally specific programs. Our hope is that students will graduate from high school prepared with what’s to come.
